This track offers a new kind of soul music and has a "joyously gritty and personal" tone to it. Both Wonder's mom and wife (at the time) helped him write the lyrics. It was nominated for a Grammy Award for best R&B song in 1970. Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours reached #3 on pop charts and #1 on the rhythm and blues charts.
